I Am Special

Welcome — I Am Special

Image

Welcome to a space built on a simple, powerful truth:

You are special.

Not because of what you achieve,
not because of how others see you,
but because of who you are—uniquely created, deeply valued, and full of purpose.

In a world that often measures worth by comparison, performance, or perfection, this space is here to remind you of something different:

  • Your value is not earned—it is given
  • Your story matters, even in the small moments
  • Your life carries meaning, even when it doesn’t feel like it

Here you will find poems that:

  • Speak to identity and self-worth
  • Encourage you in moments of doubt
  • Remind you that you are seen and known
  • Help you rediscover quiet confidence and hope

Some words will feel gentle.
Some will feel strong.
All are written to point you back to the truth that you are not ordinary—you are intentionally made.

Take your time here.
Read slowly.
Let the words settle where they need to.

And if even one line helps you stand a little taller,
or see yourself with a little more grace—
then this space has done what it was created to do.

You are special. And you are welcome here.

Nobody Else Has My Fingerprints. I Am Special

Image

Nobody else has my fingerprints,
No other hands hold lines like this,
Each swirl and curve, each hidden trace,
Marks out my own unshared place.

No one has walked the steps I’ve known,
Or felt the seeds that I have sown,
No one can be this heart, this soul—
A life designed to play its role.

I am not lost within the crowd,
Though voices rise and speak out loud,
For deep within, a truth stands still:
I’m made with care, with thought, with will.

No copy formed, no second made,
No shadow cast, no duplicate shade,
But one of one, both strong and small,
A life that matters after all.

When doubt may whisper, “You’re the same,”
Or try to dim what bears my name,
I’ll look again at what I see—
No one else is quite like me.

So I will stand, and I will live,
With all the gifts I’ve been given,
For in these hands, both worn and free,
Is proof enough—
I am me.

Poem: I Am Special

I am special—not by chance,
Not by some uncertain glance,
But shaped with care, with purpose true,
A life designed, a path in view.

Before my days had found their place,
I was held in quiet grace,
Known and formed, both heart and frame,
Called by love, and known by name.

I am special—not because
Of what I’ve done or what I was,
But simply for the truth I bear—
A life that God has chosen to care.

When doubts arise and shadows fall,
And I feel small, or not at all,
There’s still a voice, so calm and sure:
“You are Mine—secure, and pure.”

No other soul can take my part,
No other holds this very heart,
For I was made as only one—
A work begun, and still begun.

So I will stand, though weak at times,
And trust the hand that shapes my lines,
For I am more than what I see—
I am loved… and I am me.
